Biography

I'm Michael Heylmun, a Manufacturing Data Analyst at Howmet Aerospace based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Statistics with minors in Engineering Science and Mathematics from Grand Valley State University. My work focuses on manufacturing analytics, production planning, workflow automation, and data-driven decision support.

I enjoy developing software and analytical solutions that transform complex manufacturing data into actionable insights. My experience spans Python, SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, R, and modern data analysis tools, with an emphasis on predictive modeling, process optimization, and automation.

Outside of my professional work, I continue to explore machine learning, software development, and data science through personal projects and online courses. While many of my professional projects are proprietary, this portfolio showcases the personal work and technical skills I've developed throughout my career.
