Gab's Italian Kitchen began as a way to support my girlfriend's passion for cooking. As her collection of recipes continued to grow in a Google Doc, finding recipes, managing ingredients, and planning meals became increasingly difficult. I designed and developed this web application using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to provide a more intuitive and interactive experience while replacing the limitations of a static document. By integrating a cloud-hosted Supabase database, recipes, inventory, meal plans, and grocery lists are synchronized in real time, allowing changes made on one device to be instantly reflected across all others. The application automates grocery list generation by comparing planned meals against available inventory, creating a practical solution that simplifies meal planning and everyday cooking.
